After the hystrectomy I did the walking and recovery as guided. But something still felt off. I could feel pain as I was digesting food, I had constant agonizing pain in my abdomin. 2nd surgery just under 6 months was scheduled in Los Gatos. I had developed adhesions and my appendix needed to be removed as Dr said it was mishapened. Bladder was infused & checked, very red and inflamed. Diagnosis of IC remains. But no endo was found during the 3 hour surgery. Home for recovery again.
Pain continued in the right groin, I had bladder spasms off & on. Traveling pretty much stopped as the bladder flares caused frequent voiding.
Surgery #3 occurred 7 months later. Different surgeon - more adhesions, scarring over overies & and a undissolved suture on rightside round ligament. Ovaries & scarring/adhesions removed. Bladder distention & installation (again).
My body was dealing with being in flight mode & inflammation. I continued with diet changes to calm my system. I tried gabepentin about 6 months, then elmiron for 4 months, I then decided no more rx. I reverted to homeopathic, natural relief, massage therapy & my own instinct. The medical system was not working in my favor.
